Jens Moesker, Regional Vice President and General Manager, Fairmont Pacific Rim, is a veteran hotelier with more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Before landing in Canada, Moesker spent time in Europe, the Middle East, USA, and across Asia in Food & Beverage management before taking on the role of general manager. He brings his immense experience in luxury hotels and passion for food and beverage operations to every aspect of his role at the hotel and in the region.

Currently the General Manager for the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver known as the Castle in the City for the past four years. Prior to this role, he was the Area General Manager for the Philippines with Accor as well as being the General Manager at the Sofitel Manila for just over five years.

He returned to Accor as General Manager of the Sofitel Fiji Resort spending three years in Fiji after two years away as General Manager of the JW Marriott in Khao Lak in Thailand. Additionally, he was General Manager at the Sofitel Reef Casino in Cairns Australia and the Director of Operations at the Sofitel Gold Coast.

Nick Glover brings over 25 years of global experience in financial services to his role, including leadership positions in Melbourne, the UK, and Canada. Before joining RBC in Whistler, where he’s worked for the past two years, Nick led major retail banking branches, helped pioneer a new mortgage application model for one of the big four in Melbourne, and was handpicked for a specialized credit support team—offering him a well-rounded and community-focused perspective on banking.

Since moving to the Sea to Sky region, Nick has become an active and enthusiastic member of the community. He volunteers annually at the Gran Fondo alongside his fiancée, Jolene, and enjoys supporting local arts and culture events.

Whether skiing, golfing, hiking, or riding his motorcycle, Nick is fully embracing the Sea to Sky lifestyle—and is well on his way to earning his status as a true Squamish/Whistler local.

Ken is a seasoned luxury hotelier with over 30 years of experience, spanning four countries, including Canada, Japan, Bermuda and the United States.

Ken began his career with Fairmont in Food and Beverage and has held progressive management roles at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Fairmont Royal York, Fairmont Tremblant, Fairmont Southampton, Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and his most recent role as General Manager of Fairmont Château Whistler.

Ken has been an active member of numerous Industry Boards including Vice-Chair of Tourism Jasper, Destination Quebec City, President of the Quebec Marketing Council, Quebec City Strategic Conference Board, The ALHA and The Quebec Region Hotel Association. Ken is currently a member of the Whistler Hotel Association Board and Tourism Whistler.

With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Lesliann has held a wide range of roles spanning operations, sales, and marketing. She currently serves as the Regional Director of Marketing & Communications for Fairmont Pacific Northwest. Driven by a deep passion for hospitality and tourism, Lesliann is dedicated to mentoring and empowering the next generation of industry professionals.

David Tikkanen

David Tikkanen

Program Head, BCIT – Tourism Management

David has over 35 years of tourism and hospitality experience including senior sales roles at properties including the Westin Bayshore, Fairmont Waterfront, and Metropolitan Hotel.

David is the former Conference Sales Manager for Tourism Whistler and ran his own destination marketing company, Entrée Canada, which served incentive clients from global luxury brands.

Jill Killeen

Killeen Communication Strategies

Jill Killeen is a known name in communications, public relations, and philanthropy. Her career started in radio and transitioned to public relations in the hotel industry, working with notable brands that included Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Holiday Inn Asia-Pacific. In 2010, she created Killeen Communications Strategies, providing a wide range of communication and special event services for luxury hospitality, development, and charitable organizations. Jill was a founding member of Partners in Tourism (formerly TIP) and has been a “new” golfer for decades.

Arif Devji

Portfolio Manager & Senior Wealth Advisor, RBC

Arif Devji has over 27 years of experience providing high-net worth clients with strategic wealth advice and portfolio management services. By fostering long-term client relationships built on trust and transparency, Arif is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals and secure their financial futures. He holds a degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University and the Portfolio Manager designation. He also holds a financial planning designation (PFPC) from the Canadian Securities Institute and is a licensed insurance agent. Arif is committed to continuously enhancing his skills to better serve his clients and has recently achieved the Wealth Advisor title.

Born in East Africa and raised in Chilliwack, Arif believes in being active in the community. He’s been involved in various charities and volunteer organizations that serve the local community as well as international development programs. During his leisure time, Arif enjoys golf and skiing. A North Shore resident, he, and his wife, Noorani, are busy raising a family of teenage boys.

Graeme Benn is the Dual General Manager of the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver and the DOUGLAS. He has over 40 years of experience in the hotel sector in operations, sales & marketing, strategic planning, recruitment, and leadership.

Graeme has led teams within Marriott Hotels, Coast Hotels, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, and Ritz Carlton Hotels to strategically position and open new properties and destinations. As Area VP Sales and Marketing in the Caribbean and Latin America with Ritz Carlton, Graeme worked with the many destination organizations and countries to expand their tourism product and footprint.

Graeme is currently on the Board of Directors for Destination Vancouver, the Vancouver Hotel Association and recently was on the board of Tourism Whistler, the Whistler Chamber of Commerce and was Chair of the Whistler Hotel Association in 2021/2022.

Amanda Dreger

Amanda Dreger graduated in 1997 from the University of Guelph with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Hotel and Food Administration and has devoted her career to the tourism and hospitality industry.

She began her journey at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and later transitioned into the Destination Management (DMC) industry. Over the past 24 years, she has excelled as a Senior Operations Manager, with twenty of those years dedicated to Pacific Destination Services (PDS).

Throughout her career, Amanda has achieved CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) and DMCP (Destination Management Certified Professional) certifications, highlighting her passion and expertise in the meetings and events sector. She is highly respected for her logistical proficiency, calm demeanor, and ability to build lasting relationships with vendors and clients.

Outside of her professional life, Amanda enjoys camping with her husband and two teenage sons in the remote backcountry of British Columbia, where she disconnects from technology and immerses herself in the natural beauty of BC.

As CEO of Harbour Air, Bert van der Stege leads the company’s mission to make air travel in the Pacific Northwest more accessible, more affordable, and more sustainable.

Founded in 1982, Harbour Air has since grown to a fleet of 45 aircraft serving 13 destinations. The regional airline provides over 200 daily scheduled flights, scenic tours, and private charters to businesses, locals, and international visitors alike.

Hailing from the Netherlands, Bert began his aviation career as a management trainee at Lufthansa in Germany. He spent 10 years at Lufthansa, lived and worked in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Bert arrived in Canada in 2013, and in October 2022 he joined Harbour Air from the WestJet Group. Bert has over 25 years of experience in air transportation, having worked in various leadership roles specializing in airline transformations.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from working in aviation across all but one of the seven continents, Bert is excited to lead Harbour Air’s charge towards a more sustainable future in air travel.

James Terry is a true tourism professional with 50 years experience in Tourism and Hospitality​. James was COO of the award-winning Canadian rail tour company, Rocky Mountaineer for 16 years, where he led worldwide operations through significant and rapid growth​. He currently runs a successful hospitality consultancy, with emphasis on Corporate Strategy and Customer Experience.

James has sat on the board for the Vancouver Playhouse and Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC). James is Past Chair for Tourism Vancouver and today, is the Founder and Chair of Partners in Tourism (formerly Tourism Industry Partners).

Peggie Terry

Peggie Terry was the publisher of Where magazine, a position she held from 1989 – 2019. Peggie and her husband James, have ‘retired’ to Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. She has traded in her suits for shorts and high-heels for flip flops!

Currently, she is the Volunteer Executive Director of the Vancouver Tourism Awards Program, a non-profit service recognition program recognizing front line service individuals in tourism and hospitality. She has held board positions with Destination Vancouver, Science World and most recently with TOSH (The Old School House Gallery) in Qualicum Beach. Peggie has been a volunteer board member with TIP since 2010. She enjoys golf, shooting high scores all too often. Fore The Love of Golf!
